As well as his drinks writing, Peter pens articles for magazines including The Lancet’s specialist medical journals, for newspapers such as The Times and The Press & Journal, and for Scottish Business Insider magazine’s website.
Peter trained as a journalist at the Scottish Centre for Journalism Studies – which, at the time, was run jointly by Glasgow Caledonian University and the University of Strathclyde – and joined The Scotsman in 2005, writing for and helping to edit the newspaper’s professional page and special projects before joining its business desk.
He worked as the senior staff writer at Scottish Field magazine before becoming a freelance journalist and copywriter in 2014.
