Away from writing, Peter delivers media training with David Lee Media & Events, and broader writing training for his own clients.
Alongside his colleague, David Lee, Peter delivers bespoke media and wider communications training for a range of companies and public sector organisations, while Peter is also a guest speaker for Sense About Science, a charity that trains researchers to speak to the media.
Peter also teaches specialist writing skills for businesses, charities, and public bodies.

Peter and David have worked side-by-side since 2005, when they began to pen puns at The Scotsman – they now deliver media training together.

SENSE ABOUT SCIENCE
Science is one of Peter’s passions; for the past ten years, he’s been a panellist at the “Standing up for Science” training events run by Sense About Science’s Voice of Young Science project.

MEDIA WORK
Peter has been a guest on BBC Radio Scotland’s “Mornings With…” programme, has presented shows at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, and has spoken at events, including careers talks for the University of St Andrews.
